Summary of Permanent Spiritual Gifts

  1. Permanent spiritual gifts are the gifts that we in the church age now possess.

  2. A spiritual gift is the special ability that God gives to each believer for ministry within the body of Christ.

  3. The permanent spiritual gifts are the public communication gifts (pastor-teacher, teacher, evangelist), church operational gifts (leadership, administrations, service), individual gifts (helping, showing mercy, encouragement), and giving.

  4. We must be walking by the Holy Spirit and walking in divine love if we want to properly serve, participate with God in the ministry, and spiritually benefit from the use of our spiritual gift.
